A wise man/rapper once said, "When life gives you lemons, paint that shit gold." -- Atmosphere. Truer words have never been spoken, my friend. Few things in life make me happier than spray painting something gold. It's like an addiction. If it's ugly, paint it gold. If it doesn't match, paint it gold. Come to think of it, I wonder if I could spray paint certain people gold? I'd probably like them better.
Moving on. This weekend, Cindy and I attended the aforementioned Renegade Craft Fair. While there was an annoyingly abundant amount of screen printed t-shirts (We get it, they're ironic. Congratulations.), I did manage to find some gems. The Poster List , had some great prints -- 2 for $20! Can't beat that with a stick. I immediately wanted to display my finds, so I headed to Aaron Brothers and grabbed some $17 off-white frames. And spray painted them 'til they were pretty. For weeks I've been saying I'm going to hang things in my living room, and I finally can cross it off my list! Ahhh....it feels nice. Here's the finished product! Oh, and if you'll also notice the $14.99 Ikea table from the previous post that got a nice little coat of bling as well.
Here are my The Poster List finds:
Also, a few of you have asked for pictures of the newly acquired ghost chairs. Well, here they are - nicely saddled up around the Four Hands table. Speaking of, don't forget the warehouse sale is this week! However, if you're ahead of me in line Thursday morning, we're not going to be friends anymore. I'm planning on camping out with some Starbucks until the doors open. You've been warned.
Ok, that's all for now! Hopefully my next post will me bragging about all of the goods I scored at the warehouse sale. Fingers crossed!
