After my previous post, I had quite a few people show interest in the turquoise chandelier. While the chandelier could only go home with one person, I wanted to share with everyone how to replicate this fab piece in the comfort of your own home (well, outside of your own home...it's not recommended to spray paint indoors...fumes).
The process is quite simple. You can find a standard brass chandelier at any of your local hardware stores--or, if you're like me, you can just rummage through the neighbors' trash.
It's important to tape off any electrical components, as to avoid getting paint in them. I hung my chandelier from a tree in an open area to ensure that the paint would be even. I recommend a couple of coats, and be sure to let it dry for a few hours. Bada-bing, Bada-boom! You have yourself a fancy new chandelier! I also recommend having a professional install said chandelier, as to avoid electrocution.
