Whenever anyone asks me, "Where should I go to find....?," without blinking, I immediately respond, "Beehive!" Nestled in the hills of Westlake [yet just a mile or so from Mopac],
Beehive is undoubtedly my go-to shop for, well, just about everything. From darling dresses to daring jewelry, Beehive is bound to have whatever it is you need--and probably a lot of other things you didn't know you
needed.
Owner, and fellow UT grad, Claire Fields has a buying eye unlike any other. Her ability to put together pieces and curate a unique collection is awe-inspiring, and always has me thinking, "I wish I could do that!"
As soon as you step inside, you instantly feel as though you're stepping into a friend's house. The shop girls are warm, welcoming, and always eager to help you find what you're looking for--even when you don't know what you're looking for. I think the girls have a 'sixth sense of style,' as they always point out pieces I'd never chose myself, but once I try them on--they have to be mine. How do they do that?
My personal kryptonite is Beehive's plethora of accessories. Necklaces, bracelets, sunglasses...I die for them all. And when they range from around $15-$30, how can you resist?
And while I'm enamored with the wares at Beehive, I'm always excited to see how creatively Claire has them displayed. Topo Chico bottles, painted deer antlers, and vintage busts are adorned with the latest jewels, proving that Claire's attention to detail is one to be reckoned with.

Umm...how amazing is this Celine-inspired mini bag?
With a clientele ranging from high school girls to corporate women, Beehive has something for everyone and is always on trend--if not ahead of it. And the best part? It's easy on your wallet! Unless you're like me, and decide you need one of everything...
