Painted Water Bottle // Instead of a boring pitcher of water, make your guests feel like their dining out with this re-purposed wine bottle. To remove the label, soak the bottle in hot + soapy water for about 20 minutes. The label should easily scrape off, and you'll have a clean surface to paint on. For a permanent result, use oil-based glass paint. If you'd like to re-use your bottle for various beverages, you can use water-based or acrylic paint. These paints will easily wash off, and you can paint whatever you're drinking at the moment on the bottle--water, wine, red, white, etc...
Lemon Place Card Holders // The credit for this DIY goes straight to friend and fellow lifestyle + entertaining blogger,
Keri Walling, as she made these for a recent dinner party I attended. Simply take a fresh lemon and make a 1.5"-2" slit on top. I used a heavy weight paper and cut it down to 2" x 3", wrote each guest's name, and placed it in the lemon. For more of Keri's entertaining ideas, check out here darling blog,
